The ONE |
Because somebody stayed near a flying field, and we're finally invited to visit, we scrambled to buy one. Alas! The only sure shape I know since I last flew a kite as a kid. And, boy, how far we've come.
In this blog, we'll review all the kites that we've flown, providing you information beyond what the sellers have to say. Hopefully it helps you to focus on the FUN of Kite Flying, which it should really be.
Depending on where you fly, the view from the "office" could be incredible; the city skyline, Singapore Flyer and sounds of F1 car zooming past if you're at the Marina Barrage, kids running around, laughter from the playground, if you're at West Coast, the sea breeze in your face at East Coast or Pasir Ris, lots of sun, mosquito, mud but no toilet at Sengkang, or the peace and tranquility of a ex-cemetery which is Bidadari.
The whole family can do this activity. By doing, I really mean participating, not being there as a spectator. There is no greater joy than to have when my wife and kid are flying kites next to me, and enjoying it!
Of course, the smile that this little thing and wind brings to your face whenever it took off, a million bucks can't buy.
Speaking of money, a little investment will bring you countless hours of fun. I hope the share you the in-roads so you can have a much fun as we did.
ENJOY! And may the WIND takes you to that Happy place.
